I have had a very unhappy "with my services" complaint from a client for a possible 5 hours per day, 4 days gig in Brits at the end of October.
The last two days I was working in Middelburg and when she first phoned to require a quote for my services, my wife did tell her that she could expect to get the quote either late yesterday or late today as I am handling all quotes.

She was not happy with this and expected a quote within 24 hours, which I couldn't gave. Now she has informed me via e-mail that she will report me to the South African Clown Association(?) if I don't appologize for my wife (apparently) being rude to her on the phone. (She was the one that slammed the phone down in my wifes ear).
I did offer an appology that because I was to busy clowning around and could imediately jump to attention. I also did provide her with the forum details and also offered that I will provide her with possible other clowns details if so she would require.
So if any of you want a nice 4 or 5 day gig in Brits, (I think it would be for Nashua Mobile, please give me an indication. Otherwise if you would want her contact details to provide her with a quote yourself, give me a shout.

I won't be available for this gig anymore because I don't like to work for such clients.

I think she was under pressure to get a quote as soon as possible. She also probably does'nt have a clue what is going on and how it works in the entertainment world. For a big gig like this you need to plan ahead, according to the amount of days, types of audiences, area to work at, amount of shows, busking times etc. which need to done by email and can not be done while still performing at some other function.
She may also not realize what professionalism goes into performing and putting a performance together by a professional entertainer, and not just some-one to pitch up in make-up. You can get much more organization done by explaining your situation calmly, remember and understand  that ever-one has his responsibilities to forfill, in these fast moving times. Friendliness cost nothing, and makes your world a much better place, because you will get much more done.

Well said Kallie, I must also add that I did receive an e-mail earlier tonight from this lady and she offered an apology, which I accepted. ninja

Would love to start a Blacklist thread for agents and people that we get problems with.
