Hi Guys
I am a new guy in the Bix and really want to learn to clown. I hope I can learn a lot here! In the meantime where is my nose....keep up the good work !!

Hi Colin and welcome..
Think very carefully about your name and check with Bubbles if it is available.... your name must bring out your character as much as possible so if you go with Woody then what exactly is Woody about you... good luck, choosing a name is the first step to building a character.

Hi Colin, welcome aboard and I am sure looking forward to read what you can share with us. Never mind Zimbo, he's a whiteface and not quite as clever as us augustes....ha-ha-ha. I have both your clown names since way back, Woody and Dustbin. Do you still sometimes perform as Dustbin?

Ok heres the update
IM WORRIED ABOUT MY COMEDY BECAUSE NOBODIES TAKING ME SERIOUSLY!!
Woody came out of mothballs about 7 years ago for awhile and then promptly went back in the cupboard when i chucked overseas on the cruises and Spain for the last 5 years. I have now settled in Cape Town and have started up the kids side again but the corporate magic is still my main work. I work at Reach for a Dream on the side as well as parties as Crazy Colin the mad hatter of magic. I use all my clown /comedy skills but without make up. Having fun reinventing the wheel but this time around with much stronger magic and experience.

Ps Dustbin hasnt been around since those days but bubbels you might want a pic I have of the two of us together at Bruma lake ...remebr those days ....I think it was in the year 1834 !!!!

You can try and post it here, I don't know how, or you can e-mail it to me at pietbubbels@gmail.comI can remember the Bruma days very well, one of my "most embarissing moments in my clown career happened there once. I can also remember the fun that you had as Dustbin and also as Woody. Maybe you can share some of them here with us, just to "test your memory"? |

cool I will have to look for it as I am temp in storage ( long story) Its in scrap book of old stuff, I will try scan in all relevent clown pics, I even have somewhere some pics of tickey and of course my dear friends marco and gerry ... maybe have a wall of remebrance ? If anybody is around carnival city next week I am there .....asta leugo and have a good one!

Perhaps you also have some of Tommy Turnbull that you can add. Would love to see pic's of Tickey again. Also Marco and Gerry will be remembered with or without pic's.
