Anyone else suffering with multiple personality identity Crisis?  I have two characters, Zimbo the Clown and Cowboy Zim, they each have a couple personalities of their own. They also each have a pupeet who also have a couple personalities... I can argue with myself for hours... whats worse is my wife likes some more than others

Zimbo I have 3 different clown characters, Bubbels is and august, Troubles is a tramp and Uncle Scrappy is a character clown. This is sometimes hard work, but a lot of fun. What I like hearing from you is that each of your characters have a different personality. That is also know as clown character.
In my personal opinion that is THE single most important aspect of skill development of any good clown.
I am soon to begin training my future son in law in becoming a clown. I have already taken him to one of my shows to observe what I am doing and so far he was asking all the "right questions", such as what do I think is the most important aspect of clown training.
My answer was as above, clown character developent.
It's very simple, if you don't believe in your own clown character, how can you expect your audience to do so?
I will, in a seperate posting try to explain how I go about in teaching and also practise clown character development.
So keep your eyes on the South African Clown Forum and tell one and all about it, you can learn so much and the best is it will only cost you some airtime, nothing more.
